My name is Ramana Rao V.Komaragiri. I earned a Ph.D.Degree (all three examiners were U.S.A. experts) in Electronics and Nuclear Physics(1970). I retired as a Professor from Engineering College, Andhra University. I published many research articles and Ph.D.theses. The fountain itself was built in 1864 and represents the Roman Goddess Flora, the Goddess of Abundance. Today it is a heritage structure. It cost Rs. 47,000 to build, a princely sum at the time and was constructed by the Agri-Horticultural Society of Western India. Cursetjee Fardoonjee Parekh donated Rs.20,000 towards the construction of this fountain. The fountain was carved from stone that was imported from Portland. It was built in honour of Sir Bartle Frere, who was the Governor of Bombay at the time. Sir Frere was responsible for dismantling Bombay Fort and shaping much of modern Mumbai.

Again, the Lines of Union, which I shall prove to be not Lines of Marriage -as usually believed - but mere Lines of Attachment, with or without the sanction of law or priest, do necessarily receive a great deal of influence from the Line of Heart which runs parallel to them, terminating - as they do - on the Mount of Mercury, which they enter from the Percussion.
