Dr. Arnold Holtzman in his book “Psychodiagnostic chirology in analysis
and Theraphy through this illustration states: “ The bearers with square
palms generally identify with rational thinking and objective evaluations –
all this leading to well-considered actions. Rarely are there sudden and
radical shifts in moods, motions and temper, as is common with bearers of
long and narrow palms. The keywords according to him are PRACTICAL,
USEFUL, OBJECTIVE , and PREDICTABLE. This is has to do with
arrangements of one's thoughts or greater arrangements of one's life.

BEYOND PALMISTRY A DEPARTURE FROM TRADITIONAL PALMISTRY
BEYOND PALMISTRY A DEPARTURE FROM TRADITIONAL PALMISTRY
Beverly Jaegers is the author of the book “BEYOND PALMISTRY”which is two parts. In her passionate quest to learn about the human hand, in thepreface, she says:“.....I searched libraries for books on the human hand and foundmany; but they were filled with conflicting information, folklore, and pseudo-fct. Little original research has been done in manyyears and what had been done seemed only to repeat earlier work. The field was filled with glaring deficiencies..Disappointed yet still intrigued, I decided to do my ownresearch. I returned all the books and with an inky stamp padand a pad of paper set out to print all the hands of my friendsand relatives..”She further says “Probably the most crucial discovery of myresearch project was the existence of dermatoglyphics, or skinpatterns...they can reveal most of the basic factors in everyhuman personality kaleidoscope”

upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2a/SCIENTIFIC_PALMISTRY_PART_III_-_THE_LINES_OF_THE_HAND.pdf
The present compilation of notes on Palmistry by A.S. Writer is an
effort of almost a decade. This work has been done after referring to
various books and articles, many of which are mentioned in the
bibliography.
The mastery of the study of Palmistry requires a lot perseverance and
dedication by applying this scientific art practically to the lives of
individuals. As we are living in a world full of swift and constant
changes, the last word in the analysis and prediction of the palm will
never be final. For this research is one of the solutions where new
knowledge and ideas could be assimilated with the old texts written by
the sages of the East and the savants of the West. Such a fusion of
knowledge along with transparency, new method, logic and systematic
presentation could contribute to this study, thereby leading the
upliftment of the race, which is of utmost importance.
I recommend that this compilation be read by all lovers of Palmistry for
their day to day work and also for further research in and environment
where constant change and the unexpected is the order of the day.

Nakshatras-ARDRA
Nakshatras-ARDRA
Arudra means wet or surcharged with water, that is fat. Because the earth is running her
menstrual course there are teardrops falling one after another. From Rudra comes all suffering,
persecutions and oppressions, anger, ferocity of countenance or hideousness of noise. Rudra is
another name of Shiva, the "five-faced" [Panchaanana]. In knowledge, asceticism, renunciation, as
also in enjoyment, he is the supreme consummation of all desires. He is the blue-throated one, the
wielder of the most tremendous powers, what could not be attempted, far less achieved by other
Gods, when the churned Ocean at the time of 'Samudra Manthan' exhaled poison Siva achieved
quite simply by holding the poison in his throat [turning it blue]. On one side he is the symbol of the
most perfect placidity and serenity, on the other hand he is the symbol of all that is terrible. He
holds the great serpent on his head and on his forehead crescent Moon with his sweet-soft light. He
is at the same time the most peaceful and also the most terrible. And in all these are to be traced the
intrinsic characteristics of Arudra. On the surface of it Arudra stands for suffering, hardness,
cruelty, murder, prison, theft, adultery, etc. The root characteristic is oppression - in order to
purify.
Nakshatras-ASHLESHA-
Nakshatras-ASHLESHA-
David Frawley, Fruits of Worshipping Each Nakshatra:
"The Gods and the Demons were at war. The Gods made an offering to
Ashlesha. This drove away the Demons. One who makes the appropriate
offering to the Serpent God, to Ashlesha, drives away his hateful opponents.
In Ashlesha one can defeat one’s enemies. Through it one gains the poison of
the serpent to use on others. Those born under Ashlesha make powerful
warriors with powerful weapons."
Nakshatras-Pushya
Nakshatras-Pushya
desired, "May I possess the splendor of spiritual knowledge." One who
makes the appropriate offering to Brihaspati, to Pushya, gains the splendor
of spiritual knowledge.
Pushya connects us with spiritual knowledge, but also religion, ritual and
morality in general. Through it the good overcomes the evil."
Nakshatras-Punarvasu
Nakshatras-Punarvasu
David Frawley, Fruits of Worshipping Each Nakshatra:
"The Earth in the beginning had no growths. She desired, "May I produce
herbs and trees." One who makes the appropriate offering to Aditi, to
Punarvasu, produces progeny and cattle.
Nakshatras-MRIGASHIRA
Nakshatras-MRIGASHIRA
David Frawley, Fruits of Worshipping Each Nakshatra
"Soma desired. "May I win the lordship of the plants." One who makes the
appropriate offering to Soma, to Mrigashira, wins the lordship of the
plants, wins the lordship of his peers.
NAKSHATRA MRIGASHIRA
An article based on research for the benefit of lovers of astrology
Those born under Mrigashira want to provide the Soma, delight or
enjoyment to their peers. They can be exhilarating and entertaining
leaders, shining on others like the Moon. For this reason they usually do
best with a retinue of friends."
Nakshatra-Rohini
Nakshatra-Rohini
Rohini is a Nakshatra of love, passion and sexuality that is generally fertile and creative,
but not inclined to tolerate limits. Because of this it is very productive for almost
everything but can draw jealously upon it."
'Rohini' is the wife of Chandra who is said to have been fond of fine dress, cosmetics and décor and
was the most beloved of Chandra or Moon. Those born in the star Rohini are agriculturists,
experts, well-behaved, handsome, good speakers and poets. Rohini Nakshatra evokes some degree
of jealousy because others may resent that a person gains such abundance. It can increase desire.
But these are only side effects to its great prosperity.
-Nakshatras-Kritika
-Nakshatras-Kritika
David Frawley, Fruits of Worshipping Each Nakshatra
"Agni desired, "May I be the eater of food for the Gods." One who offers to Agni and
Krittika the appropriate offering becomes an eater of food for mortals. Agni as fire both
cooks and digests food. Krittika provides nourishment and the power to digest it as well.
Those born under it like to provide for others in this way."
Nakshatras-Bharni-
Nakshatras-Bharni-The Deity Yama: Yama is described as dressed in blood-red garments , with a
glittering form , a crown on his head , glowing eyes and like Varuna , holding a
noose , with which he binds the spirit after drawing it from the body , in size about
the measure of a man's thumb ; he is otherwise represented as grim in aspect , green
in colour , clothed in red , riding on a buffalo , and holding a club in one hind and
noose in the other ; in the later mythology he is always represented as a terrible
deity inflicting tortures , called Yatana, on departed spirits. He is also one of the 8
guardians of the world as regent of the South quarter ; he is the regent of the
Nakshatra Apa-bharani or Bharani.
Ashwini-Nakshatras
Ashwini-Nakshatras
The mystic ideas of Asvini the ancients. told in many tales in mythology. The symbolical expression
of Asvini is 'Dawn' — personified as the sons (in twin ideas) of Ravi (light) and Chaya (shadow) —
day and night; once in the morning and again in the evening. It represents twin ideas — Jnana
(wisdom) and Ajnana (ignorance); birth and death creation and destruction; the visible world and
the inv invisible space around.
NAKSHATRAS IN SIDEREAL HINDU ASTROLOGY
NAKSHATRAS IN SIDEREAL HINDU ASTROLOGY
Dr. David Frawley in his Introduction to Nakshatras says “It was to the Moon that the ancient
people first looked for calculating time and connecting to the stars. The Moon is the basis of the
heavenly clock. The first zodiac, therefore, would have been lunar.”
He further says : “theVedic Nakshatras arose from such a spiritual perception of the cosmos. The
Nakshatras represent the abodes into which the fruits of our labour, our karma, is transferred and
stored. The Nakshatras are the mansions of the Gods or cosmic powers and of the Rashis or sages.
They can also project negative or anti-divine forces, just as certain planets like Saturn have wellknow
malefic affects.” Some scholars derive Nakshatra from “na” and “kshatras” = not
destructible.
